This year’s tournament once again turned out to be one of the most successful events on the Professional Disc Golf Tour with 107 of the top professional and 95 of the top amateur players from across the world, competing for a combined purse of over $35,000.00.
This year’s National Tour winners are Paul McBeth from Huntington Beach, California in the Men’s Open Division, and Catrina Allen from Madison, Tennessee in the Women’s Open Division. But the biggest winner once again was The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Ohio, who received $7600.00 from fund raising activities held during and leading up to the tournament. This now raises the total the BHMO has been able to donate to $74,100.00.
While we take great pride in being recognized as one of the premiere events on the PDGA tour, we are just as proud to be associated with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Ohio. With the help of our supporters, staff, volunteers, competitors, spectators and Team-In-Training, we continue to help The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in their efforts to fight blood cancers and help those affected by the disease.
I want to personally thank everyone who helped make this one of the most successful BHMO’s ever. I hope all of you take great pride in our accomplishments. Thanks for “Keeping Brent’s Memory Alive”.
I am already looking forward to next year.
